This app consistently sends me the same push twice and semi regularly doesn't open the link the push is for. The app isn't particularly well designed. Lastly, WIS is constantly giving me pushes for things that are neither local or News.
Useless have the time you get notification and are not able to connect. It is only happened once no problem but this app isn't even a 1 star
Every time I get an alert it doesn't show the article. Useless app.
Slow to open, duplicate notifications.
1/25/22 WHY AM I GETTING DUPLICATE NOTIFICATIONS!!!! 4 of the one about the correction to the suspect info alone today! Please make it stop! Or do I need to just remove the app? 1/7/22 I like getting updated on what's happening but wish I could choose to opt out of somethings, like sports. My bigger issue is that for some reason I get almost all the alerts twice. Why? Once is enough. Please stop the double alerts.
This is my favorite station in Columbia South Carolina love Wis tv I have been watching this TV station since I was born where actually when I started to understand things in the news at the age of 3
Will not load over twice!!
Notifications pop up. I open the app, and it just gives me a short sentence and the only option is to select ok. On top of that, it was a notification about a national icon dying, and all they could manage was a brief pop up window not even an article on it. Absolutely rude, uncaring, and NOT in the southern spirit of having hospitality. I've had issues with the lack of news articles and the ads in app for a whole now but I was trying to ignore it. Clickbait lying ads at that.
The videos and ads autoplaying make it unusable to read in places where I don't want the sound blasting. Check out WACH Fox 57 app to see how to make a user friendly app.
6/30/2021 update once again made things worse. Now the headlines are incomplete, you have to select it to know what it is about. Many times the incomplete headlines tilts the article one way but when you open article the tilt is the total opposite. New version is very slow to open. Soms articles come up, start to read, then a blank white screen.. Slower to update news than WLTX. On weekends seems to be very few updates. Seem to only post Gamecock news when they win.
